Courses and Workshops
Our aim is to support and empower unpaid carers in their caring role through a wide range of support services and projects.
This is an ideal way for carers to gain knowledge and have fun whilst meeting other carers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All the trainers we use are well experienced and are aware of the issues that carers face. Courses vary and topics range from practical help with caring such as 'Moving and Handling' and 'Access to Rights & Benefits', through to areas that focus on the carers own well being and development, such as 'Stress Management' and 'Confidence & Assertiveness.' We even deliver some more leisure based topics such as Aromatherapy, or exploring arts and crafts.
We run a number of events, from time-out style relaxing activities to training in first aid.
End of Life Training
This training is designed to help guide, empower and support carers in their current role of looking after someone who is nearing the end of their life. Participants will have the opportunity to think about and plan for their own health and wellbeing as well as that of the person they are caring for.

Finding your Way Meet the other carers. Find out more about the rest of the course and how to get the most from it.
Caring and Me Look at your own physical and mental health and wellbeing. Learn about stress management and relaxation techniques.
Resources Find out what is available for you and the person you care for and how to access it.
